Every Focus Raven Rookie 26 2008 from wiggle is fully checked & assembled before despatch and will arrive ready to ride. The Focus Raven Rookie is the first bike in the Raven range and makes an ideal first mountain bike that won't break the bank. Built around an alloy frame with Focus's usual build quality, then matched to a pair of Suntour's M200 100mm travel suspension forks the bike rides well both on and off road. Both the frame and fork come with disc mounts meaning a change to discs is possible in the future, there is also a replaceable rear mech hanger. A Shimano rear derailleur operated by a pair of 21 speed twist grip shifters offers smooth and precise shifting, Suntour cranks transfer power to the back wheel whilst Tektro's powerful V-brakes help scrub off speed and bring you to a stop when needed. The Raven Rookie benefits from a quick release front wheel and a nutted rear, this makes locking the bike up easier if used as a commuter. Weight: 13.15kg (size 45 without pedals)
