Scheppach dms1100 heavy duty lathe with unique clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. Powered by a very quiet running, high torque 1 hp induction motor, it gives ten speeds ranging from 500 rpm 2,100 rpm and is therefore ideal for small diameter spindle work through to large bowl turning. Speed selection is made by a conveniently placed lever. Both the headstock, tailstock and lathe bed are made from solid cast iron which has been accurately machined to allow for smooth movement and minimal levels of vibration. The pivoting headstock turns 360° and locks to facilitate outboard turning.
